This charger is ten times better than the cheap charger you get when you buy those special bundled packages. Like the description says it charges my 14.4 volt batteries in less than an hour. I also bought two new heavy duty batteries which are about 1/2 inch longer in size then the ones that came with my drill. I'm really happy with the charger so far. I unboxed the unit, plugged it in and it worked perfectly. Much better quality than the "junk" charger Black and Decker sent with my original purchase of the cordless drill.
