I use my Dewalt 18V cordless tools so much that I use up all power in the two batteries that came with them that I needed more power. Now that I have three I can keep two tools runing while the third battery charges and by the time I need a new battery it's ready. Then I start all over again.Customer Review: New at bargain price

Necessary evil I suppose. Batteries die over time and have to be replace though there are a couple of methods available online (for free) to revitalize old batteries. I haven't had the chance to try them out but will.
I got this new batt to always have a dependable unit available. Of the original two I have, one is getting weak and the other one will not hold a charge.
I've had no problems charging this new batt with my original charger and it's power seems to be at least 10-15% better than the originals if possible.
Will most likely be getting another in the near future.
