The Makita 18V LXT lithium ion charger cools the battery to minimize charging time. With its forced air cooling fan design, this charger produces longer life and fast changes 3 Ah batteries in only 45 minutes. A built in CPU gathers information from the battery's memory chip to determine optimum charging method.
